Candy AI
Operated by EverAI Limited of Malta, and one of two entries here whose privacy notice answers the retention question with numbers rather than with a paragraph about factors.
What the licence takes
Six attributes of the licence an operator takes over what you submit, read from this vendor's own terms. A hatched cell is a question the document does not address.
How long it keeps things
Privacy notice revised 19.10.2026. One of two vendors of the eight that publish a period at all.
What the vendor publishes

The ownership clause, read twice
The terms state that the user retains intellectual property rights over their input and that the operator will never claim ownership of it. A separate section prohibits using the platform, or any content or information generated on it, for commercial purposes of any kind.
Neither sentence contradicts the other, and together they mean something narrower than the first one alone: ownership that can be exercised privately and not sold. Anyone planning to publish or monetise output should treat that pairing as the answer rather than the headline sentence.
Checks that apply
-
Who owns the output
Terms differ sharply on whether you may publish what you generate, and on whether the vendor may reuse it in training or promotion.
Walk away if: The terms grant the vendor an unlimited licence to your generations and say nothing about your own rights.
-
What happens to prompts and uploads
Prompts in this category are sensitive by definition, and a vendor that keeps them indefinitely turns a breach into a personal disaster.
Walk away if: No retention period anywhere, no deletion route, support answers by asking for a screenshot of your billing page.
-
What the content filter actually blocks
An 'uncensored' tool still has a prohibited list, and knowing it beforehand saves paying for a plan that refuses your use case.
Walk away if: No published content policy, or a policy that permits categories no payment processor will touch.
